Mrs. Miller's 7th grade English Language Arts classes participated in a Breakout activity this morning. The theme was "Fact or Fiction," and students had to use reading skills, problem-solving, and teamwork to crack the series of locks on the case (shown below). Students worked in groups of five and used the Chromebooks and a UV flashlight to find clues. The students were under time constraints to solve the puzzle. This type of activity developed out of professional development from a Google conference last spring.
