On Friday, October 14, 2016, students of the Newspaper Production class, along with Mrs. Miller and Mr. Farrar, traveled to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to attend the Kettle Moraine Press Association (KEMPA) Fall Scholastic Journalism Conference. This is the first year that Belleville High School has offered this class, and the conference offered much needed insight on how to successfully create a newspaper. At the conference, students learned new media-based and writing-based techniques that will further the success of The Prowl.
