On Tuesday, October 4, Chris Jimieson from Strides for Africa presented to 7th and 8th grade students on how their $1,800 in donations last year funded a well in Johnsonville, Liberia at the Fountain of Life School. The village is just a little larger than Belleville. Mr. Jimieson presented Belleville Middle School with a plaque that notes that its fundraising efforts helped impact the lives of over 3,700 others. In his presentation, Chris had photos and video of the school children speaking about the impact the well has had on their lives, along with personal "thank yous."
