On January 9, seven students from Belleville High School attended the Wisconsin Economic Forecast Luncheon at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. The luncheon hosted more than 500 business, government, and community leaders. Nationally recognized speakers focused on both regional and national economic trends. The newly elected governor, Tony Evers, spoke about the Badger state’s economy. The students enjoyed the day and learned about factors affecting the economy both locally and globally.
