Homecoming Monday

Monday morning at Belleville Middle and High Schools began with judging for the rocks and walls. The freshmen and sophomores decorated impressive rocks, while the seniors designed a formidable wall.

Monday night featured the annual Powderpuff football game in which the boys coach and cheer on their class's team comprised of girls. After a tight game in which the Sophomores upset the Juniors, the Class of 2022 then pulled another upset, coming out victorious over the Seniors in the championship game.
New this year was a bonfire behind the stadium following the Powderpuff game. Sponsored by the Belleville Fire Department, thank you to the volunteers and to Chief Brian Hollis for putting this event on for the students for the first time in a number of years.
While the middle schoolers dressed up for America Day and competed in kickball during the lunchtime game, the high schoolers wore their class t-shirts and played boys' volleyball at lunch.
And that's just the first day of of Homecoming Week! Stay tuned for events from Tuesday and Wednesday...
