Wisconsin Advanced Placement Advisory Council Honor

On May 6, 2020, the Wisconsin Advanced Placement Advisory Council recognized Belleville High School for the third consecutive year and the second year in-a-row as a Level II Pacesetter School. The benchmarks for each of the three levels are explained below.
Level 1: At least 30% of students testing and a passing rate of at least 70%
Level 2: At least 20% of students testing and a passing rate of at least 65%
Level 3: At least 10% of students testing and a passing rate of at least 60%

In 2019, BHS students took 143 Advanced Placement exams. Wildcat passing rates were an astounding 81.1%. That would have clearly qualified Belleville High School has a Level I school. However, only 28.4% of students at BHS took an AP exam last spring, narrowly missing the 30% participation benchmark for Level I. Belleville High School staff will continue to encourage students to challenge themselves with Advanced Placement courses. With just 4-5 additional students taking an AP exam, Level I is once again within our reach!
