Mr. Farrar's Business & Marketing class put on its 1st Annual Trade Show in the auditorium this morning. Twelve student groups had display boards and Google Presentations on their laptops to present to each potential investor. This was the culmination of the students' final project that included a written essay, a presentation, marketing plan, and display of a unique beverage product. Thank you to the staff and school board members (Angie Edge!) for judging these presentations. After rating each product, judges then invested "Farrar Bucks" into the company they felt had the most potential- similar to ABC's "Shark Tank" reality show. As always, Mr. Farrar is looking to improve and expand on this idea for next year.
