Eighth grade students in Mrs. Schultz's English-Language Arts classes are writing poems, short stories, personal narratives, editorials, and editorial cartoons this term. Many will enter their pieces into the Yahara River Writers' contest.
Christine Keleny is the young adult author of Intrigue in Istanbul, which just won a Moonbean Children's Book Award. Students in 8th grade had the opportunity to learn plot structure from Christine.
