Exploring Hospitality Field Trip

Today in Exploring Hospitality Management, a Madison College dual-credit course, students spent the morning learning about the wine and spirits business from 13th generation French winemaker, Phillippe Coquard, owner of Wollersheim Winery and Distillery in Prairie du Sac.  The knowledge and skills required in the areas of agriculture, wine science, manufacturing, business operations, marketing, and retail to bring high quality, affordable beverages to the consumer was very interesting and far more involved than any of us realized!
