Hansi Bartle Earns National Award for Community Service Impact

Back in February, Belleville High School National Honor Society Advisor Betsy Jenkins encouraged her NHS members to apply for potential scholarship opportunities through United Nations Association - USA. The program recognizes college and high school students making a local impact on United Nations global goals, including volunteering, tutoring, fundraising, and leading collection drives.

Belleville High School is proud to announce that senior Hansi Bartle is being recognized by the United Nations Association of the USA and InnerView in the 2nd Annual National Community Service Awards. Student award levels (for service from June 1, 2019 through April 15, 2020) include:
  • Ambassador: 100 hours of service across at least 12 activities this school year
  • Honor: 40 hours of service across at least 8 activities this school year
  • Merit: 20 hours of service across at least 4 activities this school year
Hansi Bartle has earned the Honor Award and invested the most effort and impact on quality education. You can see Hansi's contributions online at this opening page and a more detailed description of her service hours (with photos) with this link.

Congratulations to Hansi! Belleville High School commends her on her service to the school and community!
