Thank you to Gene and Steve Cate who donated and delivered a CNC mill today to the high school. The mill is valued at approximately $15,000. It will help us to launch another Project Lead the Way course - Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM). The Cate family is hoping that their partnership with the school district is replicated by other area businesses. Steve Cate, a Belleville High School graduate, will spend time with teacher Ed Neumann each month teaching our students how to program and best use the machine. Cate Machine and Welding has also been a fantastic partner with our School-to-Career program, allowing students to job shadow at their shop, as well as taking on one paid student position per year.
