Belleville High School's Science Olympiad Team took 5th place overall for small teams (out of 30 teams in their division) over the weekend at UW-River Falls in just their second competition. Grace Przybyl and Britney Markhardt (a replacement for Jaden Kieler being ill and unable to travel after all his hard work) placed 1st in Mystery Design. Nicole Sanders and Riley Medenwald placed 3rd in Food Science. Trevor Thole and Britney Markhardt placed 4th in Hydrogeology! Congratulations to Mrs. Smith and her team for all their early success in just their first year!
