The home girl's basketball game on Thursday night against Cambridge wrapped up the "Go For Gold" fundraising week for Childhood Cancer Awareness. Players from both teams wore warm-up tee-shirts to support the cause. Savannah Grindle, a 2015 Belleville High School graduate and cancer survivor, was the game's honorary captain.
Thursday night's game was also Parents' Night. The girls wrote notes to their parents and presented them to moms and dads as players escorted them around the gym. Thanks to all our parents for the sacrifices that they make for their kids!
