Last night (2-10), administrators presented A.L.I.C.E., the district's new school safety protocols, to a group of about 25 parents and staff. A.L.I.C.E. stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate. It takes a pro-active, age-appropriate approach to violent intruders in a school setting. The next step will to begin training with students in March.
