Start thinking Spring!

The Horticulture class transplanted their first set of plant plugs today during class! They potted, labeled, and watered  approximately 120 plants including geraniums, dianthus, juncus, and straw flowers. We will be heating up the greenhouse soon, and the class will continue to transplant more plugs, start vegetables & flowers from seed, and do some of their own experiments. All of these plants will be grown by the students and be sold in May at the annual plant sale during the village-wide garage sales. [Submitted by Mrs. Knudson]
